This is something I have realised a long time ago. This came about by meeting patients whom where consistently stress’n about many aspects of their life’s manageability and their relationships with loved ones.
“The adverse need to make everything perfect in their lives and when any one little aspect went “wrong” then they would become extremely stressed to the point it had become an affliction on their wellbeing.”
They would often never move into action on their life’s dreams and desires, because they didn’t feel that they were “good enough or had unworthy and trust issues” going on in their emotional body.
The ideal of being perfect or waiting for the perfect time or timing becomes a very destructive and inhibiting aspect of their life.
Not to mention how this affected there relationships and loved ones.
Symptoms are often stiff neck, back pain, and insomnia to name a few.
Another whom exhibited this tendency had become a “master” list maker.
Her “To Do” list was beyond sanity and controlled much of her life.
All for the extreme need to fill the emotional void of needing and wanting everything to be “perfect”.
“The perfection was an obsession on the surface but underlying was based on inadequate feelings.”
The To Do List making had become a way to protect the inner most imbalances thus physical symptoms and dysfunction.
It was with some counsel we managed to change steadily the behaviour and release the body of “Stress’n” but this came about by first acknowledging the behaviour patterns.
This is why realising PERFECTLY IMPERFECT and that to live with a healthy emotional state and raise the state of consciousness.

Using neuroimaging technologies in which pictures of the brain and its functioning are taken, researchers have been able to demonstrate that certain areas of the brain function differently in people with OCD compared with those who don’t. Research findings suggest that OCD symptoms may involve communication errors among different parts of the brain, including the orbitofrontal cortex, the anterior cingulate cortex (both in the front of the brain), the striatum, and the thalamus (deeper parts of the brain). Abnormalities in neurotransmitter systems – chemicals such serotonin, dopamine, glutamate (and possibly others) that send messages between brain cells
A number of other factors may play a role in the onset of OCD, including behavioral, cognitive, and environmental factors. Learning theorists, for example, suggest that behavioral conditioning may contribute to the development and maintenance of obsessions and compulsions. More specifically, they believe that compulsions are actually learned responses that help an individual reduce or prevent anxiety or discomfort associated with obsessions or urges.
