I realised that for over 40 years I have been reading clients patient files as I do in my normal acupuncture clinic procedure, all this happens before saying anything to the new patient, beside just acquainting myself, it all happens at acupuncture Currumbin and acupuncture Currumbin Waters 🙂
Scanning their file notes I automatically piece the pieces together in my mind.
To a great degree have diagnosed their condition before proceeding to confirm my prognosis by taking the patient’s pulse, gathering information of signs and symptoms indicative before counsel and acupuncture treatment.
Much is evident purely by the dis-ease state that is presented to me. I’ve discovered that If I can give any level of insight into the “WHY” to a clients understanding then this support triggers the wellness process automatically… the human body has an amazing capacity to self rectify. Acupuncture in particular is ageless as a modality in treating the human condition.

Acupuncture Currumbin
From 1980 to present day, that’s over 40 years…….
Currumbin beach has always been a favourite of mine, apart from studying and practicing acupuncture both in the Currumbin and Currumbin Waters areas, some may not know that in 1990, I began my Gold Coast chapter in Palm Beach, (more on this, later on in my bio.)
Acupuncture profession, was still in its infancy stages with AHPRA registration only in the distant horizon. Those days were pioneer days within the Acupuncture profession, many of which initial practitioners of acupuncture in Australia at least have either retired or passed away.
I can actually remember a time when there were no practitioners of acupuncture at Currumbin or Currumbin Waters. Just like acupuncture professionally the area has certainly grown.

Background:
Robin is an integrative acupuncture clinician, he has lectured internationally in USA, Canada and New Zealand.
A 3rd generation Australian, born and raised in North Queensland of Chinese decent, naturally having a flair for 2 cultures; both Eastern and Western. He successfully practised initial clinical Acupuncture in his hometown of Townsville from 1980 to 1987.
In early 1988, Robin received an invitation to travel to New Zealand, USA and Canada where he lectured and gained invaluable life experiences.
Returning home to settle on the Gold Coast in 1990, he became a team member of the Palm Beach Wholistic Health Centre, which later developed to the Nooyan’s Wholistic Health on the corner of GC Highway and 14th Ave. Palm Beach. Neighbouring suburbs of Burleigh Heads, Elanora, Tallebudgerra, Currumbin, Currumbin Waters and Currumbin Valley are where many of Robin’s clients have resided.
In early 2007, he semi-retired to his Tallebudgerra property and continued to practice and research from home. It’s about this time he graduated as a Feng Shui practitioner with Master Feng from Melbourne.
Feng Shui, which adds to Robin’s passion in the creation of living and work spaces for harmonious and heal-thy-self lifestyle.
After enjoying a much nourished “tree change” and relishing in the joys of fatherhood Robin became restless for the activities of clinical practise. In August 2008, he joined the team at Your Health Matters in Nerang working along side Chiropractors, Remedial Therapists and Naturopaths. Having spent much of his career on the southern Gold Coast, the opportunity to team with Petrie’s Cottage of Natural Therapies at Currumbin came in 2010. Many of our clients and patients will remember our initial years there. Robin certainly has fond memories of the acupuncture Currumbin / acupuncture Currumbin Waters practice.
In late 2017, fate have it (a fire at the Acupuncture Currumbin/ Acupuncture Currumbin Waters Clinic) Robin moved down the road to
